Whether I’m pregnant or not, I’m all about lotions and potions. And LuSa is one of my favorite new finds!
Their products are made with organic, natural ingredients, which is extra important when it comes to pregnancy and the sensitive immune system of a growing baby.
My personal faves?
• Lavender Sugar Scrub – It smells delicious and make my skin so soft.
• Sleepy Baby Essential Oil Blend – Mixed with their Massage Oil, it’s a lovely way to massage my baby girl before she goes to sleep.
• Booty Balm – Which isn’t solely for the buns… it can be used on chapped skin or boo-boos, too.
Also, the people behind LuSa Organics are nice as can be, so why not send a little love their way?
Tip: If you don’t mind a little nick in your products, check out their Scratch & Dent sale where you can get at least 30% off selected items. In this economy, we like that!
Special offer: Enter “cradle crush” in the comments field and LuSa Organics will add a free surprise gift with every order!

Greeno Bambino, me gusta mucho. (In other words… me likey.)
Anything that marries earth-friendly and kid-friendly items together, and does it in a cute way, gets my vote.
Newly launched in December, this online store is all about providing a selection of thoughtfully selected, toxin-free, and all-natural items for your little ones.
Right now they mostly offer toys, lotions & potions, and feeding items, but in the next couple of months they’ll continue to add clothing, bibs, diapers, mattresses and all other kinds of baby necessities.
So, if your resolution is to go a little bit more “green” in 2009, why not start shopping here.

Which baby products are making me super happy these days (not to mention making my life with baby a whole lot easier)? The new diaper bags and slings from Petunia Pickle Bottom.
I love that they offer different styles and designs for a variety of different situations (depending on where you’re going or what you’re doing). Here’s what I’m currently crushing on:
Crush #1: The bag I’ve been using on a daily basis is their Touring Tote.
Everywhere I go I get compliments on it and people usually don’t even realize that it’s a diaper bag. It’s not too big, it’s not too small… it’s just right. And, I’m all about the different strap options – a small hobo strap (to hold like a handbag), a long messenger one (which I can sling across my body so it doesn’t slip off of my shoulder) and the Valet StrollerClips (which make it super easy to attach the bag to my stroller).

Crush #2: Now, on the bigger side of things, I’m all about their Boxy Backpack.
I leave this one in the car as it’s perfect to have on hand when going to the park or when I’m out with baby for longer stretches of time. It’s roomy and easy to carry on my back while my hands are full with a baby and a toddler.

Crush #3: Oh, I’ve got a crush on this Cross Town Clutch!
Makes me feel a bit stylish and sassy, all the while carrying around diapers and wipes. Just slip the little wristlet on and you’re good to go for a pared down version of a traditional diaper bag.

Crush #4: Their slings are so lovely! I’m particularly fond of their Sojourn Slings, which are made of organic knit cotton (and are reversible).
The fabric selections are beautiful, and I appreciate that there is some stretch to the slings – very comfortable for mom and baby! Plus, they offer three different sizes, designed to fit the person wearing it.

Oh, Petunia!

While checking out the booths at the recent Mom2B trade show, I was surprised to run into actress and director, Melanie Mayron talking about… diaper cream? Who knew?!
After getting over the fact that I was talking with “Melissa Steadman” from “thirtysomething” (one of my favorite shows of all time), I couldn’t get over the adorable retro packaging of her products.
Mayron said that after having her twins in ’98, she couldn’t find an ointment that she really liked. So she went about making her own concoction with the help of her chemist dad. Cut to 10 years later and Mayron is now offering her own natural diaper cream.
Here are the reasons why am I crushing on Our Best Barrier & Diaper Cream:
- It’s paraben-free,
- Not tested on animals
- It has a clean fragrance
- It’s loaded with vitamins A, C, D and E
- It’s 98% natural
- And it provides just the right amount of thickness to protect my baby’s buns. I’ve got a serious crush!
Keep an eye on her website for future developments with other Mayron’s Good Baby products such as their Body Milk, Body Oil and Shampoo. I tried a sample of them at the show and they’re fabulous!

Oh, those Brits! They sure know style.
Kuster, a line out of England, offers great baby furniture for the nursery or around the house – and is now available in the U.S.

I’m currently crushing on their high chairs and their JellyBaby Changing Mat (which is made with memory foam and is ergonomically shaped for your baby – my little girl loves it).
Their line of nursery furniture recently launched at the ABC Kids Expo and will be available in stores soon. We’ll keep you posted.
