A Tiny Tale about Tiny Tales

Thursday, October 30th, 2008

Here’s a tiny tale to tell… I’m cuckoo for this Baby Tales Memory Kit.

Listen, I would love to say that I’m the kind of mom who captures every amazing moment in my babies’ life. Truth be told, I keep putting it off. Maintaining a baby book or journal exhausts me just thinking about it.

Yet, now that my son is three, I’m a bit bummed that I’ve dropped the ball in preserving many of his memories (and Grandma keeps getting on my case about it). But now that my little girl is here, I can redeem myself using this clever kit that I’m totally crushing on!

It looks like a little recipe holder, so it’s easy to keep out on the counter within arm’s reach for when you want to quickly jot something down. It comes with cards that say, “Today I did something…” with a choice

of words to check off such as “so sweet”, “maddening”, “for the first time”, and then you write out what your baby did. After, you simply file it in the dividers according to your baby’s age and you’re done. Love it!

And for those who have an older child, they do offer a kit for toddlers… so it’s never too late to start.

Excuse me, my baby just cooed for the first time. Got to go write it down!
