Eco-Friendly Maternity Clothes

Thursday, November 13th, 2008

With the plethora of cozy fabrics and vibrant colors, eco-friendly maternity fashion is on the cutting edge. What are we crushing on these days?

  • pure t’s graphic tees made from sustainable fabric – lovely! And check out their nursing tops that come with their own “cover”. Genius!
  • Belly Bandit’s wrap for helping postpartum bellies get back into shape. Now they’ve made a bamboo version of the original.
  • Boob’s skinny jeans for pregnant gals. Flattering, comfortable, 98% organic… what more could you want?

And that’s just a few pieces that we’ve got on our mind. Visit The Cradle’s Eco-Cradle to read more of our green, eco-friendly maternity faves.

I’m in the Mood for… Moody Mamas

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

I’m feeling a bit moody today. No – it’s not due to my postpartum hormones. It’s due to the fact that I’m totally crushing on Moody Mamas‘ luscious maternity clothes.

We ran into MM at the Mom2B trade show last week where I was able to pick up one of their delicious Ritzy Mama Wraps to use while nursing. Dear god – it’s so soft, it feels like a dream.

But what I’m really crushing on is their new line, Fierce Mamas for Moody Mamas by Christian Siriano, (they created this with Project Runway’s Season 4 winner). Available to the public at the end of February (although they are taking preorders right now), these clothes are fashionable, a touch frilly and of course, fierce for all you mamas-to-be.

It’s enough to make me want to get pregnant for the third time. (Did I just say that out loud? Blame it on the hormones.)
