Petunia Pickle Bottom

Tuesday, December 2nd, 2008

Which baby products are making me super happy these days (not to mention making my life with baby a whole lot easier)? The new diaper bags and slings from Petunia Pickle Bottom.

I love that they offer different styles and designs for a variety of different situations (depending on where you’re going or what you’re doing). Here’s what I’m currently crushing on:

Crush #1: The bag I’ve been using on a daily basis is their Touring Tote.

Everywhere I go I get compliments on it and people usually don’t even realize that it’s a diaper bag. It’s not too big, it’s not too small… it’s just right. And, I’m all about the different strap options – a small hobo strap (to hold like a handbag), a long messenger one (which I can sling across my body so it doesn’t slip off of my shoulder) and the Valet StrollerClips (which make it super easy to attach the bag to my stroller).

Crush #2: Now, on the bigger side of things, I’m all about their Boxy Backpack.

I leave this one in the car as it’s perfect to have on hand when going to the park or when I’m out with baby for longer stretches of time. It’s roomy and easy to carry on my back while my hands are full with a baby and a toddler.

Crush #3: Oh, I’ve got a crush on this Cross Town Clutch!

Makes me feel a bit stylish and sassy, all the while carrying around diapers and wipes. Just slip the little wristlet on and you’re good to go for a pared down version of a traditional diaper bag.

Crush #4: Their slings are so lovely! I’m particularly fond of their Sojourn Slings, which are made of organic knit cotton (and are reversible).

The fabric selections are beautiful, and I appreciate that there is some stretch to the slings – very comfortable for mom and baby! Plus, they offer three different sizes, designed to fit the person wearing it.

Oh, Petunia!
